"If you believe you can achieve physical excellence, you have a chance and you may, but if you believe yourself to be fat and lazy, then physical excellence is nearly impossible solely because of your beliefs, not because of your physical limitations."

Yesterday I completed reading Jim Rohn's book "My Philosophy for Success" on Kindle.  I highly recommend taking the time to read this book.  Over the years I have lost track of how many people have praised his work.  Now I know why.  The crazy part is that the book only cost me $2.99 to download.  Yet the thoughts and ideas are priceless.  His book is the one that inspired me to drop the pricing on my book and I am glad I did it.  It just makes it that much easier for people to take action.

This idea has also inspired me to get the rest of my books published.

"Here's the philosophy that ensures poverty:  spend your money and invest what is left.  The bottom line is that this strategy will make you poor.  On the flip side, here is the philosophy that will make you rich:  invest your money and spend what is left."
- Jim Rohn

Now, read that again.  Then read it one more time.  Then do something today to apply this philosophy into your life.  You either do it or you don't.

The only things that ultimately separate us all are our philosophies... Thoughts = actions = habits = character = destiny
Life is always what we make it and as long as we control our philosophy or even our conscious choice in philosophy then we are in way more control of our life than we realize!

Loving technology

Now that life is getting back to "normal" for me, I found myself looking for a Jim Rohn book yesterday for my i-phone Kindle app and was pleased to find what looked like a great book that I could download for only $2.99.  So I got it and instantly started reading.  Then I realized that my own book that I hoped would reached as many people as possible was priced considerably higher.

So I did the logical thing and reminded myself it is not about the money and changed the price to only $2.99 for a Kindle download (from $9.99).  To $10 for a paperback (from $20) and so on.  And then ordered a Kindle version and began instantly reading that all the while realizing just how incredibly lucky we are to live in the times we live in,  To have access to such priceless words so conveniently.  Life is good and I am extremely excited about the next five years.

Recovery continues!...

After taking almost three months off, for some reason my feet still hurt when I get up in the morning! 2,620 miles of jogging in 100 days may take a little more time to recover from than I anticipated.

So I finally wised up and jumped on my mountain bike for a nice and easy ten mile ride to the river the other day.  After all the running, the cycling feels like I'm cheating, but I must find a way to keep moving lest I inflate!
