23rd MARATHON COMPLETED IN 23 days

Every author needs a platform, here's mine;  I AM running a marathon every day until I become the first American to complete 365 marathons in 365 days AND until I sell 100,000 copies of my book that motivates and inspires you to make EACH day count for just one year.

MILE 1 - 36 degrees this morning and no wind. It's all about the layers today! My fingers are already numb, good thing it's not raining!...

MILE 2 - Decided to change things up a bit this morning. I am running the route backwards starting in the middle of the route (it's only a little over a half mile from where I live!).

MILE 3 - Here comes the sun!...

MILE 4 - This is turning out to be a gorgeous day!...

MILE 5 - It must be the change of scenery, this seems easier!...

MILE 6 - Legs and feet feel perfect today!...

MILE 7 - It has taken longer than I thought for the legs and feet to adjust, but better late than never!...

MILE 8 - I am fully convinced that the more we forget about the time element of anything, the easier and more enjoyable it becomes...

MILE 9 - Now I have all my layers tied around my waist. Looking forward to meeting up with my son to refuel and drop the extra gear...

MILE 10 - Still only 36 degrees but the sun makes it feel a lot warmer...

MILE 11 - Legs and feet still feel good...

MILE 12 - The feedback that I have been receiving via Twitter and Dailymile has been the true difference maker for me, especially because it is coming from all over the globe...

MILE 13 - I know that I am incredibly lucky to be living in the times we live in that allows me to do something this big and share the experience with the world live. I feel connected to so many people this way and incredibly grateful...

MILE 14 - Half way there!!!

MILE 15 - Refueled with raw almonds, honey, peanut butter and banana sandwich, Gatorade and even a little coffee!..

MILE 16 - A picture perfect spring day here. Now warming up nicely...

MILE 17 -I think I do better without the food. Since I ate a few miles back, I now feel tired! Not good!!

MILE 18 - Feel like I could take a good nap right about now...

MILE 19 - Yesterday is probably catching up with me as well. Worked for eight hours after the marathon. Did not get home until almost ten at night. Looking forward to no work for the next three days and hanging out with the kids...

MILE 20 - Right about now would be the perfect time for a second wind!...

MILE 21 - Wake me up when we ger there!...

MILE 22 - Must find espresso!!...

MILE 23 - "Make it count"

MILE 24 - Almost there...

MILE 25 - Jessica, my favorite daughter joined me for the last few miles on her bicycle and wanted to say "How you doin'?" in a Joey from "Friends" kinda way to all the blog readers!

MILE 26 - Running the final miles with someone to keep you company is 5,000 times easier - Jessica just made these last few miles a breeze!!! THANK YOU! And thank you to all of you who kept me going today.

FINISH - MAP AND STATS FOR TODAY'S RUN
