54th marathon in 54 days completed

Mile 1 - 8:35 a.m. 55 degrees...

Mile 2 - High today is 70...

Mile 3 - Partly sunny with a light breeze, in other words, perfect...

Mile 4 - Started down by the river today...

Mile 5 - Gonna take today a little slower than normal - if that is possible...

Mile 6 - With sun comes snakes...

Mile 7 - Heading over the river into La Crosse...

Mile 8 - What a gorgeous day for a run...

Mile 9 - Respecting the feet today more than anything...

Mile 10 - Still dealing with some blisters from the new shoes...

Mile 11 - Had a slice of pizza at mile 10 that falls under my 20% rule...

Mile 12 - Heading into the marsh...

Mile 13 -The marsh is always peaceful...

Mile 14 - I always make a point to turn off the music in the marsh, just so I can listen to all the sounds of the marsh...

Mile 15 - Heading south through the residential areas...

Mile 16 - Legs and feet holding up so far...

Mile 17 - Kahlen (my son) is joining up with me on the mountain bike until the last three miles, which we will drop off the bike at the vehicle and he will run with me!...

Mile 18 - I have found that running is the easiest when I have company...

Mile 19 - Heading back north, straight into the wind...

Mile 20 - Feeling it now...

Mile 21 - Time to dig deep...

Mile 22 - Just started craving a nice cold beer for some reason...

Mile 23 - Back down by the river...

Mile 24 - Kahlen is running with me, trying to keep up;) OK, maybe I was trying to keep up with him. He has resorted to running ahead and back occasionally!...

Mile 25 - Really feeling it now...

Mile 26 - My feet hate me right now!!! Aside from that, I feel great!

THAT WAS A LONG DAY!
